Box Score

DOVER, Del. - Stevenson men's lacrosse freshman Stephen Banick (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) scored a career-high eight points while sophomore Chris Dashiell (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) added seven as the seventh-ranked Mustangs ran their CAC win streak to 15 with a 19-3 victory over Wesley Wednesday at Miller Stadium.

Stevenson (8-2, 2-0 CAC) led 12-0 at halftime and 16-0 following the first goal of the season by junior Reed Phillips (Chester Springs, Pa./Downington East) with 8:04 remaining in the third quarter.

Phillips was one of 12 different goal scorers for the Mustangs and one of four players who netted their first of the season, including junior John Cammalleri (Far Hills, N.J./Rutgers Prep), senior Mathew Schenck (Glen Gardner, N.J./Hunterdon Central) and freshman James Mullis (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck).

Meanwhile, senior Pat Magee (Chicago, Ill./Saint Viator), juniors Dixon Green (Hereford, Md./Hereford), Sam Ramatowski (Bowie, Md./Annapolis Area Christian) and Aaron Taylor (Powell, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) each picked up their first points of the season as 17 different players had at least one point.

Ramatowski also won 9-of-11 face-offs.

As for Banick, it was the fifth multi-goal game of his career as he finished with a career-high five. Banick, who had seven points and five assists in the season opener versus Haverford, has scored at least one goal in eight of the team's 10 games this season.

Dashiell totaled career-highs with five assists and seven points. His seven points were four more than his previous career-high of three achieved five times over his first two seasons.

Junior Kyle Fendlay (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the defense with eight ground balls and three caused turnovers while reigning CAC Defensive Player of the Week, junior Kyle Holechek (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola Blakefield) had six ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Senior Ian Bolland (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) did not allow a goal in the first half while making three saves to earn his eight win of the season and the 28th of his career. He is now 28-5 as a starter.

Sophomore Colin Rayburn (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) and junior Mark Salerno (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) each made their first appearances of the season in the second half and the 10th and seventh of their careers, respectively.

Tim Dougherty had an assist on all three goals for Wesley (1-7, 1-3 CAC) while Matt Ryan was credited with 13 saves.

Stevenson wraps-up its three-game road trip at Hood on Saturday. Game time is at noon.
