History

To coincide with the University's 20th anniversary since beginning its NCAA Division III athletics program in 1994, Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College) launched an Athletics Hall of Fame with the first class inducted on October 25, 2014.

PURPOSE

The Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes and honors former outstanding student-athletes, coaches and administrators of the athletics program for their accomplishments and service to Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College). In addition, the Hall of Fame Committee will honor special contributors, athletic program pioneers and impactful teams at the Hall of Fame banquet.

MISSION

The Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie College) Athletics Hall of Fame serves to honor those who have brought distinction to and/or made exceptional contributions to the overall development, success and prestige of the Department of Athletics while maintaining the high level of core values set by the University. All inductees will be judged on the University's four core values of excellence, integrity, community and learning as part of the great distinction they have brought upon themselves and the University.

NOMINATIONS

All student-athletes become eligible for nomination to the Hall of Fame 10 years after leaving the University and must have attended and participated in one sport for at least two traditional seasons. Nominees for the Class of 2025 will include those who graduated from Stevenson (formerly Villa Julie College) in 2015 or earlier.
