Do I need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center for an NCAA Division III school?
To participate in Division III athletics, a student-athlete must have been admitted as a regularly enrolled, degree-seeking student in accordance with the regular, published entrance or admissions policies of that college or university

I am currently enrolled at Division I or Division II institution. What do I do if I am interested in talking to a coach about transferring?
Stevenson must first obtain written permission to have any contact with you, regardless of who makes the initial contact, including evidence that you have entered the transfer portal.Your current institution must grant or deny any student-athlete's request for permission to contact within 14 days of the initial request
A college coach has asked me to take an official visit, what do I do?
Stevenson coaches will send you the required forms to conduct an official visit on campus, and will work with our compliance staff to make sure all is complete and submitted through Stevenson's Compliance C&R platform.Â

Remaining Eligible for Practice and Competition
Here are some key things that you need to be aware of concerning your continued eligibility during and beyond your first collegiate semester per NCAA rules.
Credit Requirements
- You must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits)
- You must complete 24 credits per academic year in order to participate in the following academic year. You must have successfully completed either an average of 12 hours per semester or 24 hours since the start of the previous fall semester.
GPA Requirements
Stevenson University follows the Academic Support Services policies. If your grade point average (GPA) is high enough that you are eligible to remain at the institution as a full-time student, then the athletic department considers your GPA high enough to participate in athletics.
Social Media Policy
Social media are media used through web-Â- and mobile-Â-based technologies to turn communication into interactive dialogue and engagement, and they have become a staple of social dialogue and action in the new millennium. Websites and user-Â-generated content include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, and blogs. Knowing the methods, etiquette, and scale of social media is vital to gaining an understanding of the nuances and repercussions that lie therein.
Contemporary students at Stevenson University are expected to follow institution-Â-wide social media uses, limitations, and practices. Social media communication is public and visible, and posting inappropriate texts, pictures, videos, or images could provoke institutional or legal ramifications for the individual or group. The University and its representatives will monitor and follow social media communications to help create a balanced and positive environment. Â
