Gianna Romero


Gianna Romero is a junior feature twirler majoring in Business Communication. She is an accomplished twirler, gymnast, and dancer. She began her twirling career at the age of 9 and has been a member of the World and National Champion Wheaton Dance/Twirl Teams. She was also a feature twirler for The John Carroll School Patriot Band. As a competitor, Gianna competes solo, strut, and multi-baton routines. She has consistently placed in the top 10 in her division and events. Gianna holds various state, regional, and national titles. She has been the national pageant winner, national solo and two-baton champion, and consistently placed top 7 at nationals. In 2022, she was named the Kozkoska Memorial High School Champion. She was a competitive gymnast with Harford Gymnastics and is currently a member of the Stevenson University Acro and Tumbling Team. She is also a classically trained dancer. She was a member of the John Carroll School College Preparatory Dance Program and lead and corps dancer in various Harford Dance Theatre productions. "I am so excited to be able to continue twirling at the collegiate level. I can't wait to perform on the Mustang field and cheer on my fellow classmates."
