STEVENSON, Md. - An 11-0 run over the final four minutes of the first half and a 15-4 spurt to start the second half proved to be the key for Wesley as it rallied from a first half deficit en route to a 49-34 victory over Stevenson Saturday at Student Union Gymnasium.

The win was the 12th in the last 15 games for the Wolverines (16-9, 10-6 CAC) who will be the third-seed and host a first round game in next week's CAC Women's Basketball Championship. It was also their sixth-straight against Stevenson.

Wesley trailed 18-16 with 4:09 remaining in the first half before a 26-4 run gave the team a commanding 44-22 advantage with 10:23 left in the second. During that time, the Mustangs (5-18, 3-13 CAC) missed eight consecutive shots and were just 3-of-22 from the floor.

Stevenson shot 25.0 percent from the floor for the game and were 5-of-25 in the second half while being outrebounded 26-19 and totaling nine turnovers.
