OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Senior Brett Yoder (Parkton/Herford) had three goals and four points, both season-highs, while junior Richie Ford (Baltimore/Towson) totaled a season-high five goals as the No. 1-ranked Stevenson University men's lacrosse team won its 10th-straight at home, 13-3 over Marymount (Va.) Tuesday at Caves Athletics Complex.

The Mustangs (12-0, 6-0) have won 15-straight overall and are now just one win away from securing the top seed in next week's CAC Men's Lacrosse Championship and with it, home field advantage throughout the toournament.

Yoder and Ford scored seven of Stevenson's first 10 goals, including six consecutive to help the Mustangs build a 9-1 lead less three minutes into the start of the third quarter.

Since becoming the nation's top team, Ford, who was the third Mustang in the last five weeks to be named CAC player of the Week on Monday, has totaled 14 points over the three games since, including 11 goals.

A total of 45 players played in the game for the Mustangs, including four of the team's six goalies. Sophomore Jimmy Dailey (Westminster/Winter Mills) and junior Steve Kazimer (Syracuse, N.Y./Henninger) each had three points with Dailey totaling a goal and two assists and Kazimer adding three assists.

Freshman Tom Montanye (Glyndon/Franklin) and freshman Justin Lea (Elkridge/Mount Saint Joseph) each scored their first career goals while juniors Shane Clift (Baltimore/North Carroll) and Trip Latta (Glenwood/Glenelg County) each picked up their first assists of the season.

Junior Geoff Hebert (Lutherville/Dulaney) earned his 12th consecutive win in goal, making six saves in 45 minutes before giving way to seniors Eric Fleegle (Easton/St. Peter & Paul) and Chris Carroll (Deale/Southern) who each made one save in seven-plus minutes.

Kevin Conklin led Marymount (5-7, 1-5 CAC) with a goal and an assist. Danny Carson and Andrew Gaston also scored for the Saints.

Stevenson hosts its final CAC game of the season on Friday against Hood at 4:00 p.m. Prior to the game, the team will honor in its 2009 senior class.
