Mustangs Set Two School Records in Dual Meet Loss to Gallaudet

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson men's swimming team set two school records in a 53-136 defeat to visiting Gallaudet.

Junior Adam Michalak set a new school record and took first overall in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a 32.47. Michalak won the event by 10.08 seconds. 

Senior Zachery Cather set a school mark in the 50 Fly with a 26.58, which was 6.14 seconds faster than the second-place swimmer. 

Cather also picked up a victory in the 100 Fly with a time of 55.82, which was just .08 seconds faster the second-place finisher.  

Freshman Brian Brown won the 50 Free with a 26.47.

The Mustangs compete in their final meet before the MAC Championships at Arcadia on Saturday, January 27 at 11:00 am.
