Stevenson Athletics announces Theresa Reed as Assistant Athletics Communications Director

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson Athletics and Director of Athletics Communications Sara Ropski announced the addition of Theresa Reed as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications on Monday afternoon.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Theresa to our team at Stevenson," said Ropski. "Her knowledge, creativity, and commitment to continued professional growth—while helping elevate collegiate athletics—align perfectly with the overall vision of Mustang Athletics."

Reed joins Stevenson following a one-year tenure as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Arcadia University. While at Arcadia, she served as the primary contact for men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, indoor and outdoor track and field, men's and women's tennis, and women's wrestling. Reed also played an integral role in game-day promotions, managed Arcadia's social media platforms, and assisted with the training and supervision of student employees.

Prior to her time at Arcadia, Reed served as an athletic communications intern at Neumann University. In that role, she assisted with game-day operations, including setup and breakdown, live statistics, and broadcasts, while also contributing comprehensive coverage through postgame recaps and website updates.

Reed additionally completed an internship with the Philadelphia Union in the community relations department, where she managed and tracked volunteers, coordinated themed match days, and supported outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall fan experience.

While completing her undergraduate degree, Reed gained valuable experience in event sales, working with organizations such as the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Philadelphia Union, Neumann University Golf Outing, and the Philadelphia Flyers. She consistently ranked among the top five sellers in her class across multiple sales initiatives.

"I am extremely grateful to Sara Ropski and the entire search committee for this opportunity," said Reed. "I'm excited to be a part of the changes happening at Stevenson and attribute to them and grow in the process."

Reed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from Neumann University.
