Sara Ropski joined the Athletic Communications staff as an Assistant Athletics Communication Director on January 23, 2023, and was promoted to Associate Athletic Communications Director in July of 2025. 

Ropski serves as the contact for men's and women's beach volleyball, field hockey, women's soccer, men's and women's ice hockey, and men's and women's lacrosse. She oversees all @gomustangsports social media channels and strategies, works as a liaison with the club sports teams for communications coverage, and oversees over 60 student-employees and 13 interns.

Ropski arrived to Stevenson University after a year tenure at Lebanon Valley College as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications and an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach. At Lebanon Valley, she served as the primary contacts for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's ice hockey, and men's and women's lacrosse. As a coach, Ropski served as a goalie coach for the Dutchmen. Prior to Lebanon Valley, she served full-time with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for two years, culminating as the state’s Awards Noncommissioned Officer In-charge at the Pennsylvania Joint Force Headquarters. In 2024, she was on military leave of absence as she was deployed on a year-long combat tour to Somalia, in the Horn of Africa.
 
Ropski attended Neumann University and graduated in May 2020 with a bachelor’s in communications and digital media. While at Neumann, she was a three-year member of the women’s lacrosse team and worked in the sports information department. At Neumann, she primarily worked with the men's and women's soccer teams, field hockey, and men's and women's ice hockey. She received the East-COMM Bill Esposito Memorial Award and Neumann Athletics MVP for her time at Neumann and urge to continue in the profession of sports information. 
 
After, her undergraduate career at Neumann she moved on to attend Liberty University while on active duty to receive her master’s in strategic communications. 
 
Currently, Ropski is a Staff Sergeant/ E-6 and still serves in a drilling status within the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. She is slotted as a Signal Operations Noncommissioned Officer with the 28th Infantry Division.
