BUFFALO, N.Y. – At the conclusion of event finals on Saturday evening, the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced the DIII All-Tournament and DIII Tournament All-Academic Teams for all participating teams.
For the Mustangs, junior top/tumbler
Annabelle Rossow was named All-Tournament First Team and All-Academic Team. Junior base
Allyson Ozimek was named All-Tournament Second Team. Lastly, junior base
Emma Breznak was named to the All-Academic Team.
Rossow and Ozimek were key members of the acro five-element event, setting a new program record in postseason against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, scoring a 9.15 on a 10.00 start value, qualifying them for event finals in that heat.
The All-Tournament team is selected based on performances during the NCATA DIII Tournament. The DIII All-Academic team is given to student-athletes who possess a GPA of 3.75 or higher over three or more semesters.
