OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson University Director of Athletics Jordan Hoover announced the appointment of Cullen Moore as Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and External Partnerships on Wednesday.
Moore joins Stevenson after serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations at The Catholic University of America. In that role, he oversaw budgeting for all athletic facilities, operations, and capital projects while collaborating on revenue initiatives. Moore also served as a liaison with facilities, maintenance, and the university's Department of Public Safety to ensure the smooth execution of athletic events and facility operations. In addition, he worked closely with corporate partners while overseeing multiple athletic programs.
"We are thrilled to welcome Cullen Moore as our new Assistant Director for Facilities and External Partnerships and to add him to our senior leadership team," said Hoover. "Cullen's proven track record in managing athletic facility operations, along with his ability to connect with external partners to generate revenue and build lasting relationships, stood out early in the search process. His leadership, organization, and vision for enhancing our athletic facilities and overall operations align perfectly with the direction of Mustang Athletics, and I am incredibly excited to have him help lead Stevenson Athletics into its next era."
Prior to that position, Moore served as Assistant Director for Facilities, Operations, and External Rentals, where he developed partnerships that generated more than $400,000 in external rental revenue for Cardinal Athletics. He also managed event operations for multiple sports, including several NCAA Tournament competitions. During the 2024–25 academic year, Moore was named Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) Facility Manager of the Year.
Before transitioning into athletic facilities administration, Moore gained five years of collegiate coaching experience, including two seasons as an assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator at Mount St. Mary's University and three seasons as an assistant coach at Marymount University.
"I'm extremely grateful to Jordan Hoover and the Stevenson Athletics Department for the opportunity to be part of a new era at Stevenson," said Moore. "The collaborative and supportive culture was evident throughout the interview process, and I look forward to playing a role in elevating the department on a national stage."
Moore holds a Master of Business Administration from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Randolph-Macon College.
