Nathan Williams set another school record in the discus and
Fabrice Saint Hillien qualified for both the 100 and 200m dash finals on day two of the MAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Widener
Williams placed second in the discus with a school record toss of 50.87m - .45m better than last year's performance at MACs where he also took second place. Williams currently has the third-best performance in the Mid-Atlantic region and 14th best in Division III, which puts him in line to qualify for nationals.Â
Saint Hillien took second in the 100m dash preliminaries with a time of 10.83, while also taking second in the 200 prelims with a personal best time of 21.60 - the second fastest time in the region.
Dominic Snipes clocked times of 11.33 and 22.83 in the 100 and 200.Â
Alexander Reimert qualified for the 400m hurdle finals with a personal best time of 57.27.
Conner Hall would also qualify for the finals in the event with a personal best time of 57.98.Â
Jackson Hall would finish 10th in the decathlon with 4587 points. On the second day of competition, Hall took seventh in the 1500 with a time of 5:12.41 and eighth in the discus with a top toss of 29.37m (PR).Â
Johnathan Womack clocked a solid time of 2:00.17 in the 800 for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs are currently ninth out of 14 teams with 19 points.Â
The third and final day of the meet takes place on Saturday, May 4.Â
