WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Stevenson men's track and field team turned in multiple season bests and took first place overall with a score of 168 points at the Green Terror Invitational.
Fabrice Saint Hillien led the way with a season-best time of 49.09 in the 400, which gave him first place in the event. Saint Hillien would also clock a season best in the 200 (21.67), where he took second overall. Saint Hillien's 200 time is tied for fourth best in the
Mid-Atlantic region. His 400 time is seventh best in the region.
Malachi Griffin ran season best's in the 200 (22.73) and 400 (50.01), where he placed fifth and third.
Isaiah Dunn took seventh in both the 100 and 200 with PR's of 11.46 and 23.13.Â
Alexander Reimert took first in the 400 hurdles with a solid time of 58.25.
Aidan Petraglia won the 1500 with a time of 4:10.51 - just .03 seconds from the MAC qualifying standard.Â
Parker Weigel won the pole vault in a jump off with a top height of 4.00m, while
Joshua Tidwell placed third in the triple jump with a hop, skip and jump of 12.48m.
Zachary Moore placed sixth in the event with a distance of 12.09m. Moore would also place fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.98m.
Lloyd Cox placed fifth in the hammer with a personal-best toss of 34.63m.
Cory Cherenfant notched season best's in the long (5.89m) and high jump (1.65m).
The 4x100 relay team
Braxton Jones, Griffin,
Zion Stokes and Dunn clocked a blazing time of 42.82, which gave them second overall. Stevenson's performance in the event is second best in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The 4x400 team of
Josh Harris, Petraglia,
Jay Crawley and
Victor Leke placed second with a time of 3:35.24.Â
The Mustangs compete next at the three-day Messiah Invitational, starting on Thursday, April 9.Â
