PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -
Nathan Williams took first place and set another school record in the hammer throw at the Penn Relays. Williams' throw of 62.13m - which is currently the third best in Division III - was almost a full meter better than the second-place finisher. Williams would also place 15th in the shot put (15.21m) and 21st in the discus (45.98m). As it stands, Williams is likely to qualify for the NCAA Championships in both the hammer and discus.
Also competing at the meet was Stevenson's 4x400m relay team comprised of
Alexander Reimert,
Conner Hall,
Dominic Snipes and
Fabrice Saint Hillien who took third overall in the Pop Haddleton MAC relay with a season-best time of 3:22.72.
Stevenson competes next at the three-day MAC Championships, hosted by Messiah, on Thursday, May 2.
