Nathan Williams claimed the MAC title in the weight throw with a top toss of 18.49m on Day One of the MAC Championships, hosted by Alvernia. Williams, who currently has the top performance in the region (20.54m) and second in Division III, earned All-MAC First Team honors.
Hayden Schindler earned a spot on the podium with a fourth-place finish in the 5000 with a season-best time of 15:19.47.
Fabrice Saint Hillien earned a spot in Saturday's 60m dash finals with a preliminary time of 7.03 seconds - a personal best.
The 4x200m relay team of
Conner Hall,
Alexander Reimert,
Andrew Parker and
Dominic Snipes missed out on a podium spot by less than a second with a combined time of 1:35.60 (10th place).
Stevenson currently sits in fifth place out of 13 teams with a score of 15 points.
The second and final day of the meet begins on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10:15 a.m.
