WINCHESTER, Va. -
Nathan Williams opened up his senior season by breaking each of his school records in the shot put and weight throw at the Holiday Kick-Off, hosted by Shenandoah. Williams finished first in the weight throw with a toss of 20.20m - which is currently second best in all of Division III - and second in the shot put with a top throw of 16.03m, which is sixth best in DIII.
Stevenson took fourth out of seven teams with a score of 98.
Jai Raccioppi took fifth overall in the 60m dash finals with a time of 7.20.
Fabrice Saint Hillien finished sixth with a time of 7.22. Saint Hillien clocked a personal best in the preliminaries with a time of 7.14. Raccioppi would also place second in the 400 with a time of 52.84, while Saint Hillien took third with a 53.19.
Raccioppi would also anchor the 4x400 (
Kadin Egbert, Saint Hillien,
Alexander Reimert) team who took first overall with a time of 3:33.20. Stevenson's time is best in the MAC and fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Johnathan Womack clocked a solid time of 2:03.56 in the 800, which gave him third place out of 19 runners.
Julian Paglia made his collegiate debut in the mile with a 4:52.54 and second-place finish.
Hayden Schindler placed fourth in the 3000 with a 9:13.
Parker Weigel placed third in the pole vault with a top height of 3.35m.
Jalen Thomas had a top leap of 5.98m to take fifth in the long jump.
Stevenson competes next at the Lions Indoor Invite, hosted by The College of New Jersey, on Friday, January 12.Â
