Scouting Stevenson 

  • Stevenson fell to King’s 7-20 for its second consecutive loss. 
  • The Mustangs have mustered an average of 199 yards of total offense in the last two games after averaging 318.25 yards of total offense in the first four games.
  • First year Jakari Lewis racked up 121 yards on kick returns against King’s. Lewis’ 39-yard kick return set up the Mustangs lone touchdown. 
  • Senior Ryan Sedgwick was held to 117 yards passing going 15-35 and connecting with seven different receivers.
  • Clarence Travis was dominating the defensive end for the Mustangs with a career high of 18 tackles.
  • Demetrius Salley added 10 tackles on the afternoon for Stevenson.

Scouting Lycoming

  • Lycoming is coming off a 21-0 loss to No. 9 Delaware Valley, the fewest point total allowed to Delaware Valley in MAC play since 2018.
  • Senior Austin Rowley and junior Hunter Cambell both played a big part in the defensive stand for Lycoming with 8 and 7 tackles, respectively.
  • Senior Elijah Shemory struggled to connect throughout the game going 12-27 for 85 yards.
  • Sophomore Heath Jones added 14 carries for 30 yards.
Despite leading for the first half and a late rally, the Mustangs fell to Lycoming 29-28 on Saturday afternoon at Mustang Stadium in Owings Mills.

  • The series is tied 5-5. 
  • Lycoming won the last meeting 28-29 on September 25, 2021 with a game-sealing touchdown with 10 seconds remaining. 
  • The Mustangs had won five straight meetings against the Warriors before the meeting last season.
