Stevenson selected fourth in 2026 MAC Football Preseason Poll

OWINGS MILLS, MD. – The Stevenson football team was selected to finish tied for fourth in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference Thursday morning.

Eastern claimed the top spot in the poll with 81 points and nine first-place votes, followed by Delaware Valley with 66 points and Misericordia with 61 points. Lebanon Valley and Stevenson tied for fourth with 52 points apiece, while King's placed sixth with 48 points. Widener was seventh with 31 points, followed by Albright with 27 points, FDU-Florham with 22 points and Alvernia with 10 points.

Eastern enters the 2026 season as the defending MAC champion after finishing 8-1 in conference play and 10-1 overall in 2025. Delaware Valley and Misericordia finished tied for second at 7-2 in conference play, while Lebanon Valley finished fourth at 6-3. Stevenson finished tied for fifth in the conference at 5-4 and posted a 6-4 overall record last season.

With five teams separated by just 14 points in the preseason poll, the Mustangs will look to build on last season's six-win campaign and climb the conference standings in 2026. Stevenson enters the season under head coach Josh Hoge, who will lead the Mustangs into another competitive MAC campaign.
