NEWTOWN, Pa. –  The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced
its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending September 6, 2026. A total of 24
student-athletes were recognized for performances from Sept. 1, 2026 to Sept. 6, 2026. Of the 24 student-athletes, Ethan Marshall earned Defensive Player of the Week and Mohammad Butt earned Special Teams Player of the Week. 
 

FOOTBALL (#MACfb) 

MAC Defensive Player of the Week 
Ethan Marshall (Stevenson / Jr., LB / Springfield, Pa.) posted a team-high nine tackles, including
seven solo, to lead Stevenson's 17-0 shutout of Bridgewater (Va.). He added 2.0 tackles for
loss, a team-high 1.0 sack, and a forced fumble in Stevenson's first shutout win since 2023.
 
MAC Offensive Player of the Week 
Mohammad Butt (Stevenson / Fy., K / Towson, Md.) controlled the field-position battle in
Stevenson's 17-0 win over Bridgewater (Va.), booting a career-long 28-yard field goal,
averaging 33.0 yards on five punts (long of 41), and adding four kickoffs for a 62.0-yard
average.
