With 13 wins, Stevenson (13-6) has assured itself of its first winning season in school history and is just one win shy of equaling the team's win total from its first two seasons combined. The Mustangs also improved to 8-2 on the road this year and 9-0 in games in which they score four or more goals.
The first period got off to a frantic pace with the two teams combining for three goals in the first 5:02 and all three coming in a span of just 1:47. Junior Erin McLoughlin started the scoring at 3:15 with her fourth goal of the season assisted by Martell and freshman Monica Pozuc.

Alexander and Taggart hooked up again at the 6:42 mark of the second period, giving Taggart her team-leading 10th assist this season. She holds the school's career record with 28.
Alexander's first two goals keyed a stretch of four unaswered goals for Stevenson as the Mustangs broke a 1-1 tie and took a 5-1 lead with just 2:09 left in the third period.
