DeMan nets hattrick, Women’s Ice Hockey edges Lebanon Valley into Overtime in Season Finale

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Stevenson Mustangs women's ice hockey (4-20-1 overall, 4-16-1 MAC) fell to the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen women's ice hockey, 5-4, in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Emma DeMan wasted no time putting Stevenson on the board, scoring just 30 seconds into the contest off an assist from Meghan Croyle. Lebanon Valley answered with a power-play goal a little over five minutes later to even the score at 1-1 by the end of the first period.

DeMan struck again at the 6:36 mark of the second period to regain the lead, but the Dutchmen responded once more to tie the game. At 12:10, DeMan completed the hat trick with her third goal of the afternoon. Kiana Baker extended Stevenson's advantage early in the third period, finishing a feed from Carleigh Barwick to give the Mustangs a 4-2 lead.

Lebanon Valley rallied with two third-period goals — including one on the power play — to force overtime. In the extra session, the Dutchmen netted the game-winner with 3:13 remaining to secure the 5-4 victory.

DeMan led the Mustangs with three goals and 18 faceoff wins, while Barwick added two assists. Natasha Neelon recorded three blocked shots to pace the defense, and Maggie Sehnert made 43 saves in goal.

The contest concludes Stevenson's season. The Mustangs will regroup and prepare for the 2026-27 campaign next school year.
