BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Sacred Heart scored five third period goals, including three on the power play, as the Division I Pioneers erased a one-goal deficit at the second intermission by scoring the game's final six en route to a 7-3 victory over the Stevenson women's ice hockey team Friday night at the Wonderland of Ice.

The Mustangs (3-2) led 2-0 at the end of the first period following goals by freshmen McKenzie Taggart (Centennial, Colo./Colorado Selects) and Molly O'Neil (Aurora, Colo./Colorado Selects) just 2:51 apart. Taggart's goal came on the power play and was one of two extra-man goals for Stevenson.
