Owings Mills, MD- Villa Julie men's soccer suffered a
tough loss at home to St. Mary's College of Maryland. Solid
defense and good defending by goalkeeper Eric Lowman
(Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) helped the Mustangs
hold the Eagles to a scoreless first half. Eagles' senior
captain Mikael Tigrett scored the game's lone goal in the
79th minute.
The Mustangs' offense battled hard in the second half but were
unable to come back from the 1-0 deficit. The Mustangs'
conference record falls to 1-2 while their overall record drops to
4-6.
On Monday, October 1, the Mustangs travel to Westminster, MD to
face Coach John Plevyak's former team, McDaniel College at 4 p.m.
