NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Office announced the 2025-26 Women's Golf "of the Year" awards. In the announcement,
Callie Dias secured the Rookie of the Year award, in addition to being named to the All-MAC Second Team. This is the second straight season that the Mustangs have earned Rookie of the Year;
Alexis Marsh was last season's recipient.
Dias began the season with a top-15 result in all fall competitions. She led the team during Round Two of the Cardinal Fall Classic after she shot 82 (+10). During the Stevenson Fall Invitational, the first-year from North Andover, Massachusetts, led the team and finished third overall, the highest first-year finish in the event, following her score of 81 (+10). Her third-place finish was one of two top-five results she secured on the season.
The Rookie of the Year carried that success from the Stevenson Fall Invitational to the 2025 Golden Oaks Shootout. In the event hosted by Arcadia, Dias propelled the Mustangs to a second-place team finish and placed the highest among the team. She ended the fall season with a tenth-place finish in the Battle at Bulle Rock and secured another second-place team result for
Jeff Smith's side.
Following the opening two events of the spring season, in which Dias secured one top-15 result, she shot her way to a fifth-place finish at the Stevenson Spring Invitational. Her impact in the Mustangs' lone home event of the spring influenced the team's victory. On the back of a successful outing, the Mustangs traveled to the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, where they shot a career-best 80 (+9) during Round Three, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes five and six.
Dias ended her season at the MAC Championships, where she finished inside the top-10 following the conclusion of both rounds. She shot 85 (+13) and scored a birdie on her route to a tenth-place finish at her first conference championship. She currently boasts a regional rank of 98.
