BERKELEY SPRINGS, W. Va. - The Stevenson women's golf team opened up the fall season with a seventh-place finish (+93) at the Shenandoah Invitational, held at Cacapon Resort State Park.

Alexis Marsh shot an 86 (+14) in the final round, giving her a two-day total of +17. Marsh finished the tournament tied for 15th. Sydni Sundstrom, who also finished tied for 15th, improved on her opening round score by a stroke with an 80. 

Olivia O'Connor finished her first career tournament tied for 29th (+13) after improving on her opening round by five strokes with an 81. 

Callie Dias rounded out the team score for Stevenson with a two-day total of +27. 

Nisachon Sillence and Carissa Dargenio finished the tournament at +29 and +33. 

Juliette Coffey of Batten University (Va.) won the tournament at even par, while her school finished atop the team standings at +57.

The Mustangs will tee off next on Friday, Sept. 18 when they host the Fox Hollow Tri-Match held at the Fox Hollow Golf Course.
