OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling recorded a 109.075 showing in Owings Mills Gymnasium against the Frostburg State Bobcats on Thursday evening, unable to match their pace as they clocked a final 245.670.
The meet started with the compulsory event where the Mustangs managed a 6.850 final score out of 10. Working through the Acro event, sophomore
Daisy Fernandez, first year Clare Cashion, first year Lanall Stewart and first year
Lia Murphy scored a 6.850 in their heat.
The Mustangs added an 7.050 in heat one of the pyramid portion and a 8.800 in heat three with senior
Allyson Ozimek, Fernandez, Stewart, Murphy, Cashion,
Layla Warrick, and
Jordan Brock.
First year, Cashion rounded off the Mustangs with a 7.550 in the open of the tumbling event.
Due to an injury, the Mustangs did not compete in the team event, adding it all up to the final 245.670-109.075 final meet score.
