KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling recorded a 117.750 showing at Kutztown University against the Bears on Thursday evening, unable to match their pace as they clocked a final 230.080.
Showing well to start in the pyramid heat of the compulsory event, the Mustangs managed a 9.05 final score out of 10. Working through the Acro event, junior top/tumbler

Allyson Ozimek, first-year top/base/tumbler
Daisy Fernandez, and sophomore base
Kirra Warner topped the Bears with a final 8.60 on a 9.85 start value in the seven-element heat. The Bears scored an 8.30 in the same event.
Scoring above eights in the pyramid event before halftime, the Mustangs added an 8.55 in the inversion heat, an 8.35 in the synchronized heat, and a 9.35 in the open heat.
In the tumbling event aerial pass heat, junior base/tumbler
Mariana Ruiz scored a 5.200 on a 7.00 start value, followed by sophomore top/tumbler
Emma Stapleton scoring a 5.625 on a 7.25 start value in the six-element pass. A 6.775 showing with a 7.25 start value by sophomore base/tumbler
Alise Gasker in the open pass finished off the tumbling event.
Due to an injury, the Mustangs did not compete in the team event, adding it all up to the final 230.080-117.750 final meet score.
