Baseball Ready to Take a Swing at the 2026 Season Slate

Owings Mills, Md. (December 12) – The Stevenson baseball team and head coach Matt Righter, has officially unveiled its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive blend of non-conference match ups, key regional tests, and a full MAC Commonwealth slate as the Mustangs aim for a strong postseason push.

Stevenson opens the 2026 season at home on Saturday, February 21, hosting King's (Pa.) for an 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. doubleheader. The Mustangs continue their early-season home stand with McDaniel on February 25, Penn State Hazleton on February 28, Wilson on March 1, Lancaster Bible on March 4, and Notre Dame (Md.) on March 6 — all at Owings Mills East.

The Mustangs then travel to Baltimore for a road doubleheader at Notre Dame (Md.) on March 7 before heading to Lebanon Valley on March 11. Stevenson closes that stretch with a road MAC Commonwealth match up at Hood on March 13, followed by a home doubleheader against Hood on March 14.

Mid-March features additional regional road action, including trips to Waynesburg on March 17 and Geneva (Pa.) on March 18. The Mustangs return home on March 20 to host Messiah, then travel to Mechanicsburg on March 21 for a conference doubleheader. Stevenson also visits PSU–Harrisburg on March 24 before opening a key MAC Commonwealth series with Alvernia, beginning on the road on March 27 and concluding with a home doubleheader on March 28.

April begins with a home match up against Washington (Md.) on April 1, followed by a road contest at Eastern on April 2 and a home doubleheader vs. Eastern on April 4. The Mustangs continue conference play by hosting Notre Dame (Md.) on April 8 and Widener on April 10, then travel to Chester for a Widener doubleheader on April 11.

Stevenson's non-conference meeting with Valley Forge is set for April 14 before a home game against Marymount on April 15. The Mustangs then host Albright on April 17 and visit the Lions for a doubleheader on April 18. The regular season closes with home match ups against Neumann on April 22 and York (Pa.) on April 24, followed by a road doubleheader at York on April 25. Stevenson wraps its regular season at Marymount on April 29.

The MAC Commonwealth Playoffs will begin May 1–2 with the semifinal best-of-three series, followed by the championship series the following week. The conference champion will secure the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
