COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Stevenson field hockey team was placed No. 20 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
The No. 20 Mustangs received 108 points in this week's poll, launching them past Washington & Lee, University of Rochester, SUNY Geneseo, York College of Pa., and The College of New Jersey.
After Stevenson upset Stevens last week in overtime, Stevens has dropped in the poll to No. 12 in the Poll while the Mustangs moved up five slots.
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III Coaches Poll is a composite ranking of the top 25 teams with a .500 or better record in the nation each week. Each Division III conference is permitted one vote for the ranking each week, with each designated conference head or associate head coach voter serving on the NFHCA Coaches Poll Committee.
Polls are announced every Tuesday during the field hockey playing season.
