Nathan Williams set another school record in the hammer with a top distance of 60.87m, which gave him first place in a field of Division I and III athletes on day one of the Dalton Ebanks Invitational, hosted by George Mason. Williams' throw from today, which was over 3 meters better than the second-place finisher, is the top performance in the Mid-Atlantic region and second-best in Division III.
Fabrice Saint Hillien clocked a personal best in the 200m with a time of 21.98, which gave him fourth overall in a field of 64 athletes. Hillien's time is currently second-best in the Middle Atlantic Conference and third best in the region.
Parker Weigel finished eighth in the pole vault with a top height of 3.91m - just .04 off of his personal best. Weigel currently has the fourth-best performance in the conference (3.95m).
Hayden Schindler ended opening night of the two-day meet with a solid 5000 time of 15:19.01, which gave him 19th out of 32 runners.
The second and final day of the meet takes on Saturday, April 6.
