FLEETWOOD, Pa. -
Zachary Wilcox won the individual title at the MAC Commonwealth Golf Championship after finishing the tournament at even par - four strokes better than the second-place finishers. Wilcox - who won MAC Commonwealth Golfer of the Year and Rookie of the Year - is the third Mustang in program history to win an individual conference title.
The Mustangs, who finished the tournament at +24, took second in the team standings. York won the team title at +17.
Ryan Thomas, who improved on his opening round score by two strokes with a 74, finished tied for ninth overall - earning him All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team honors.
Brett Ostroski shot two strokes better than day one with a 75, which gave him a two-day score of +8 and a 13th-place finish.
Rounding out the team score for Stevenson was
Leo Perez, who finished the tournament at +12.
Sean Dowd shot a 79 in both rounds for the Mustangs.
