Ryan Thomas shot a five-over par 77 and is tied for fifth after the opening round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational, held at The Bridges Golf Club.
The Mustangs are fourth out of 10 teams with a score of 318 (+30).
Gavin Barton and
Leo Perez both shot scores of 80 (+10) and are tied for 10th.
Rounding out the team score for the Mustangs was
Zachary Wilcox who shot an 81.
Aidan Dillahay shot an 84 for the Stevenson "B" team.
Justin Allen carded an 84 for the "A" team.
Matt Slivosky,
Alex Nichols and
Gabe Seise all shot scores of 86 for the "B" team.
Matthew Crawley shot a 92 (B).
The second and final round takes place on Sunday, March 29.
