NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Office announced the 2025-26 Men's Golf "of the Year" awards. In the announcement, Zachary Wilcox earned his second Golfer of the Year award and is the first Mustang in program history to earn the honor twice, in addition to being named to the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team. Jeff Smith, was named Coach of the Year in his first season in charge of the Men's program.

Wilcox's season was highlighted with a victory at the MAC Commonwealth Championships, where he shot a -1 on Day One and +1 on Day Two to win the individual title for the second time in three seasons with the Mustangs. During Day Three of the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, Wilcox shot an eagle and five birdies on route to a season-best single round score of 68 (-4). He recorded two top three finishes this season and improved his regional rank to 38 and an scoring average of 75.4. 

Smith led the program to nine top five results, the most the Men's Golf team has recorded since the 2021-22 season. The team also had one event victory this season and four top three results, which three of the four came in the final three events of the season. Stevenson ended the season with a region rank of 12. 

Ryan Thomas (+3) was also named to the First Team alongside his teammate Wilcox after finishing joint-second at the MAC Commonwealth Championships this past weekend. Leo Perez (+13) was named to the Second Team after he was tied for 10th following the Championships at Golden Oaks.
