MEQUON, Wis. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling (2-7) ended their third-ever postseason debut short against the hosting Concordia University of Wisconsin Falcons in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) DIII Tournament. The final score was 235.110-209.575 in the Falcons' favor.
Although paced well by the Falcons in the compulsory event, the Mustangs managed a 9.15 in the pyramid heat. They then went on to add an 8.50 in the toss heat.
In the acro event, the Mustangs topped the Falcons with an 8.475 in the five-element heat on a 9.55 start value.
Before the half, the Mustangs kept their pyramid event consistency with an 8.70 score in the inversion heat on a 9.50 start value. The open heat saw the team scoring a 9.70 on a 10.00 start value.
Although outscored in the toss event,
Annabelle Rossow,
Jaidan Jacobs,
Kirra Warner,
Robin Scroger,
Alexis Gross, and
Mariana Ruiz managed an 8.125 in the open heat.
Regular season effort was maintained in the tumbling event, when Rossow and
Trinity Poltrack in the duo pass added an 8.100 score on an 8.50 start value. Poltrack in the aerial pass scored an 8.300 with an 8.75 start value. Despite scoring lower in the open pass, the team managed an 8.325 on an 8.50 start value.
A 70.150 in the team event with a 92.34 start value brought the meet to the final 209.575 decision for the Mustangs.
