OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling (0-2) lost to the Division II Kutztown University Bears (3-1) in their home opener on Saturday afternoon. The final score was 246.130-185.730.
In the compulsory event, the Mustangs managed 8.00 scores in the pyramid and toss heats out of a 10.00 set start value.
The Mustangs continued to show improvement in the pyramid event, managing a 9.60 start value in the open heat and scoring a 9.05.
In the toss event, the Mustangs excelled in the open heat, scoring a 7.15 with a 8.65 start value.
In the tumbling event, first-year top/tumbler
Trinity Poltrack scored an 8.075 on an 8.75 start value. The Mustangs almost matched their 8.50 start value in the open pass with sophomore top/tumbler
Annabelle Rossow scoring an 8.300.
A few points off the record in the team event, the Mustangs scored a 61.380, bringing them to the final 185.730 score.
