OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling will begin their third program season on the road for 2024 at Division II Caldwell University on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.
OVERVIEW
The team will take part in seven events this season, hosting three dual-meets, and will travel to West Virginia State University to take on their new program the week of spring break.
For postseason, the Mustangs will travel to Concordia University of Wisconsin, who will be hosting the NCATA Division III Tournament from April 11-13, 2024.
A LOOK BACK
The Mustangs competed in seven meets last season, including hosting a tri-meet against St. Leo and Kutztown over spring break. By the end of the season, the Mustangs improved in the tumbling event with scores of 7.800 in the triple pass and 8.575 in the aerial pass. Improvements in the acro event are also on the horizon, as the Mustangs managed a 9.95 start value in the seven-element heat.

SCOUTING CALDWELL UNIVERSITY
The Mustangs hosted the Cougars last season in their home opener, recording their first-ever program win with a final 186.660-113.350 score. This meet also marked the first-ever team event.
The Cougars are starting off 2024 with 20 student-athletes on their roster under head coach Amirah Boyd, who is the second head coach for the program beginning in May 2023.
