LYNCHBURG, Va. - Stevenson Men's Beach Volleyball took on Webber International University and hosting Liberty University on day two in Lynchburg. The Mustangs would record a split, defeating the Flames 5-0 but falling to the Warriors 5-0.
The morning began with the match against top-ranked Webber. Stevenson's second and fourth flights of Anthony Pezzino/Ryan Thenell and Tanner Laukhuff/Jay Hyman, respectively, took their opponents to three sets, but were ultimately bested in the third.
First flight John Ferraro/Tim Flanagan, third flight Kevin Kouchoukos/Jacob Sledz, and fifth flight Jackson Bones/RC Getteau fell 2-0.
Stevenson bounced back in their second match of the day against the hosting Flames, playing to a 5-0 sweep.
