BELLE VERNON, Pa. - Sean Dowd is currently tied for eighth after the opening two rounds of the Vulcan Invitational, held at the Cedarbrook Golf Course, with a score of 3-over par. Dowd carded a 76 in the opening round before carding a 1-under par 71 in the second. 

The Mustangs are tied for ninth out 15 schools with a two-day score of 615. 

Brett Ostroski notched rounds of 79 and 76 (+11), while Ryan Thomas finished the first two rounds of his collegiate career at 12-over par.

Rounding out the team score for the Mustangs was Zachary Wilcox, who improved on his first collegiate round by seven strokes with a 75 in the second (+13).

Aidan Dillahay - also making his collegiate debut - carded two rounds of 82 for the Mustangs. 

The third and final round of the tournament tees off at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 4.
