OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson men's soccer program will host a Spring ID Clinic for prospective recruits on Saturday, April 29th at the new athletics campus on the Stevenson Owings Mills East Campus. Led by head coach
Graeme Millar and the Mustang coaching staff, the clinic is open to players in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 as well as any community college prospects.
The clinic cost is $55 and is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*COVID-19 best practices, social distancing and Baltimore County restrictions will be implemented for the clinic and players will receive specific instructions on arrival time, procedures and clinic activities the week of the Clinic.
The Stevenson Soccer clinic is designed for high level, dedicated athletes aspiring to become future Stevenson men's soccer players. The clinic will educate players on the demands and expectations of being an NCAA Division III student-athlete and is a great opportunity to learn more about the Stevenson University men's soccer program and gain on-field experience and training from the Mustangs coaching staff.
Players will have the opportunity to learn more about the campus athletic facilities and have a Q&A session with the coaching staff and current SU soccer players.
ABOUT HEAD COACH GRAEME MILLAR
Graeme Millar was named as Stevenson's Head men's soccer coach on April 7, 2017, after a successful 10-year run as women's head coach. Millar also serves as an Associate Athletic Director at Stevenson. In his fifth season with the men's program, Millar guided the Mustangs to their fourth consecutive conference playoff appearance. The program played one of the toughest schedules in all of DIII, playing six teams that went to the NCAA tournament.
Millar, who is the eighth head coach in Mustang men's soccer program history, guided Stevenson's women's program to eight postseason appearances in 10 years from 2007-16. The Mustangs were NCAA tournament participants in 2010 and 2014 after winning their conference title both years. Millar has guided the Mustangs to six ECAC Tournament appearances, including three title games, and Stevenson captured the 2012 ECAC South crown.
