KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Stevenson acrobatics & tumbling traveled to Division II Kutztown University Thursday evening and returned home with a final score of 222.750-121.875 in the Golden Bears' favor.
Starting strong, the Mustangs posted a 6.30 in the acro discipline. The Golden Bears scored just above them by close margins in the following heats. The tumbling discipline saw a jump for the Golden Bears, adding 6.90 to their final 30.40 score in the compulsory event.
The Mustangs scored a season-high 17.35 total score in the acro event with a 6.05, 6.70, and 4.60 score in the three respective disciplines. They tied their 21.00 home meet score in the toss event.
For the first time this season, with a 10.00 start value, the Mustangs were just short participants to qualify for the team event. The Golden Bears added a 44.800 score with a 98.25 start value.

The Mustangs compete in a tri-meet during their spring break, hosting Saint Leo University and Kutztown University once again on Tuesday, Mar. 14 at 6 p.m. in the Owings Mills gym. The tri-meet will also be the next event for the Golden Bears.
