Robin Scroger managed an 8.350 score in the five-element heat of the acro event, topping the Golden Bears' 7.65 score. The Mustangs finished with the highest score in the seven-element heat, topping both opponents with a final 8.800 score.
In the pyramid event, the Mustangs opened strong with a 9.30 score, higher than the St. Leo Lions' 9.00 score.
In the aerial pass heat of the tumbling event, Holland scored an 8.550 for the Mustangs, finishing just ahead of St. Leo's as the Lions notched an 8.500 score.
The Mustangs did not qualify for the team event. The day's events added up to scores of 130.500 for the Mustangs, 248.155 for the Lions, and 243.280 for the Golden Bears.
