MYRTLE BEACH, N.C.- The Stevenson softball team opened up their spring break trip in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic on Sunday, March 13. The Mustangs fell, 3-0.

Stevenson softball was shut out, 3-0 to DII Franklin Pierce in their first game of the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. The Mustangs put up six hits in seven innings against Franklin Pierce. Despite Marissa Heuer being credited with the loss for Stevenson, she struck out seven batters while the Franklin Pierce pitcher only struck out four. Jordan Fangman and Megan Hamp each totaled two hits apiece for the team.

The Mustangs face DII Mansfield at 1:30 PM and Franciscan at 3:30 PM, March 15th.
