WILMINGTON, N.C.- The Stevenson women's beach volleyball finished off their weekend 2-2 as they swept Catawba, 4-0, and fell 5-0 to host UNCW. 

Against Catawba, at No. 1 Emily Pellini and Shannon Baily swept their competition, 21-15, 21-17. At No. 2, Piper Connors and Taylor Jones also swept their opponents, 21-10, 21-15. 

At No. 3, Abby Bruce and Olivia Simon dropped set one, 21-17 before winning, 21-18, 15-12. At No. 4, Makala Thompson and Ellie Cast also won both sets 21-13, 21-14.

Against the division I UNCW, Pellini and Baily fell at No. 1, 21-11, 21-17. Jones and Connors fell at No. 2, 21-16, 21-14. Simon and Bruce fell, in a close 25-23 set and 21-12 at No. 3.

At No. 4, Cast and Thompson fell, 21-8, 21-14 and at No. 5 Kayla Vaeth and Hannah Naja fell, 21-14, 21-19. 

Stevenson returns to the court Friday, March 4th, and Friday 5th as they face Carson-Newman and St. Andrew's University.
