Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Stevenson women's soccer allowed an early goal before battling back to eventually force overtime, ultimately falling 4-3 in the extra session to Catholic during Wednesday's home opener at a muggy Mustang Stadium. 
Samantha Wilson and Allison Arters found the back of the net for Stevenson (0-2-1), bouncing back in an up and down matchup. Catholic (2-2) scored in the second minute and eventually capped the night with an overtime tally in the 92nd minute. 
- Courtney Cutting found the back of the net for the third time this season, putting Catholic on the board early for a 1-0 edge in the second minute. 
 
- Each side traded chances until Stevenson evened things up in the 15th minute on a looping through ball that caromed off the head of a Catholic defender. 
 
- Both goalies made key stops with Keegan Caffrey turning aside an attempt in the 24th minute and Maeve Graham answering with a save of her own in the 26th minute. 
 
- Jordan Siok put the visitors back in front with an unassisted marker in the 30th minute for a 2-1 Catholic advantage. 
 
- Caffrey stopped two more Catholic chances before Samantha Wilson netted the equalizer on a long shot from Ericka Kitzinger in the 41st minute. 
 
- The deadlock was short lived for the Mustangs as Catholic responded with a goal in the 41st minute for a 3-2 lead heading into intermission.  
 
- Finally cashing in on the third consecutive corner attempt for the Mustangs, Allison Arters labeled a looping ball into the top left portion of the net, tying the game at three. Arters delivered the well-placed strike off a quick pass from Cassidy Butler. 
 
- Despite more quality scoring looks for both sides, neither could find the go-ahead tally in regulation. 
 
- Cutting worked free for the game-winner in the 92nd minute, capping a big offensive evening for both sides. 
 
- Catholic doubled up Stevenson in shots, 24-12. 
 
- Caffrey made 12 stops for the Mustangs, continuing to climb up the program's all-time saves list. 
 
- Wilson and Kelly Schultz had two shots on goal each for the Mustangs, while Olivia Stephen had a team-high three shots. 
 
- Prior to Wednesday, the last two meetings between the two programs resulted in a scoreless draw.
