IMMACULATA, Pa. -- Stevenson women's soccer broke through with a pair of second half goals in a 2-0 shutout road win at Immaculata on Wednesday afternoon. 

Stevenson (2-4-3) finished with an 18-6 edge in shots, receiving second half tallies from Michelle Mesquita and Olivia Stephen. 

• Immaculata had an early look as Bridget McDonough churnned an attempt wide in the third minute. Olivia Stephen countered with the Mustangs' first attempt of the afternoon, slotting it wide right in the 11th minute. 
• The look for the Mustangs set an offensive tone with Jessica Kern, Cassidy Butler and Allison Arters following with shot attempts within a three-minute stretch. 
• The Mustangs maintained a high level of pressure, which included two more looks for Allison Arters in the 23rd and 25th minutes. 
• Kelly Schultz closed the half with two scoring opportunities, including one just before the half expired, as keeper Brooke Shissler ranged to make the stop. 

• Schultz racked up three more shot attempts for the Mustangs in a nine-minute span, forcing Shissler to make another save in the 46th minute. 
• Mesquita broke the scoring ice, finishing off a feed from Nieve Barry in the 59th minute. 
• Keegan Caffrey stepped up off the restart as Immaculata notched two scoring looks in response. 
• Barry poked a shot wide left for Stevenson in the 81st minute following an offside just moments earlier. 
• The Mustangs maintained posession for much of the final few minutes, locking things down in the midfield to preserve the shutout win. 
• Stephen added an insurance marker for the Mustangs, intercepting a throw-in and dribbling up the right side before sending a looping ball into the goal. 

• Stevenson posted an 8-3 edge in first half shots. 
• Barry recorded an assist for the second consecutive contest with her helper on Wednesday. 
• Mesquita picked up her first goal of the season, finding the back of the net after being a consistent offensive prescence throughout the year. 
• Caffrey notched her second clean sheet of the season in goal. 
• The Mustangs had triple the shots on goal, holding a 9-3 margin.  
• Schultz notched six shots on the afternoon, while Arters had five. Combined, the duo outshot Immaculata.
