STEVENSON, Md. - Stevenson senior Alex Kidwiler belted three home runs and finished 4-5 at the plate with four RBI and seven runs scored and the Mustangs got a pair of complete-game pitching performances from Matt Reich and Jake Vanko as they swept a MAC Commonwealth baseball doubleheader from Albright by scores of 11-5 and 11-1 Saturday afternoon at Sugar Field.

• Albright (0-7, 0-6 MAC Commonwealth) staked itself to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, taking advantage of three hits, a walk and a passed ball.
• Stevenson (6-2, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) got a run back in the bottom half when Tommy Holcomb was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
• In the second, Will Mesa walked and after moving to third on an Alex Russo double, scored on a groundout by Amani Jones.
• A sac fly by Kevin Murray Jr. scored Russo to the the game, then Kidwiler belted his first home run of the afternoon to left-center to put the Mustangs up 4-3.
• Josh Jacavage homered to right in the third for Albright to tie the game 4-4.
• In the bottom of the fourth, Billy McAdam delivered a three-run double and later scored on a Holcomb groundout to put Stevenson up 8-4.
• Albright cut the lead to 8-5 in the top of the fifth before Stevenson scored three times in the bottom half to extend its lead to 11-5.
• A two-out single by Murray scored pinch runner Cooper Sancomb, then Kidwiler belted his second home run of the afternoon, this one to left.
• Murray and Kidwiler each had two of Stevenson's seven hits, as the Mustangs also took advantage of seven walks and three hit batters by Albright pitching.
• Reich improved to 3-0 in three starts, striking out 10 in his seven-inning complete game effort and allowing four earned runs with one walk.

• Albright struck again in the top of the first, pushing across a run to take a 1-0 lead.
• In the bottom half, Kidwiler hit a solo shot to left-center, then Stevenson took a 3-1 lead on a two-run double by Kevin Carricato that brought in Holcomb and McAdam.
• The Mustangs tacked on three more runs in the third, with Jonathan Brandt, Holcomb and Carricato hitting back-to-back-to-back doubles after McAdam led off the frame with a single.
• Holcomb dropped a two-run single into right in the fourth that made it 8-1.
• Stevenson's final three runs came in the fifth as Amani Jones scored on a wild pitch and McAdam doubled to the gap in right-center to plate Murray and Kidwiler.
• McAdam finished 4-5 in the nightcap as Stevenson pounded out 14 hits, while Kidwiler, Carricato, Holcomb and Jones each had two hits.
• Vanko earned his first win of the season, allowing six hits and one run over nine innings.  He fanned six and did not walk a batter.
• The Mustang defense turned three double plays in Saturday's second game.

• Murray extended his season-opening hit streak to seven games in the opener before being shut out in the hit column in the nightcap. 
• Stevenson's 14 hits in game two matched a season high that came in the opener against Eastern.
• After not stealing a base in the first game, the first time all season it had not done so, Stevenson swiped five bags in Saturday's second contest.

• Stevenson completes its four-game conference series with Albright on Sunday, traveling to Reading for a noon doubleheader.
