Box Score REISTERSTOWN, Md. - Stevenson women's ice hockey junior Paige Sullivan netted her first career and senior Trinity Barcless recorded her 50th career point, while first year Sidney Hearn posted a shutout in her first career start as the Mustangs posted a 2-0 non-conference victory Friday evening at Reisterstown Sportsplex.
- After just three whistles in the opening 10 minutes of the contest, Barcless gave the Mustangs (6-3-0) the lead at the 10:15 mark on assists from first years Katelyn Reid and Franki Cappello.
- Cappello found Reid in the neutral zone before passing it ahead to Barcless who scored one-on-one against goaltender, Shelby Guinard.
- The Dutchmen (0-8-1) were whistled for the first penalty of the game at the 12:07 mark giving the hosts the first of three power play opportunities.
- Stevenson needed just 19 seconds before Sullivan scored from a wrister at the point, with junior Nikki Kendrick dishing out the assist.
- The Mustangs recorded the first two shots of the period before Lebanon Valley had eight of the next nine shots, all stopped by Hearn.
- With 55 seconds remaining in the period, Stevenson was called for its first penalty of the game.
- Junior Tea Ferrara recorded a blocked shot on the lone shot attempt by the Dutchmen during the first half of their power play.
- Both teams recorded a shot on the last 1:05 of Lebanon Valley's power play.
