Box Score READING, Pa. -- Stevenson women's soccer allowed a goal in each half, falling 2-1 to Albright in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) 4/5 Play-In Game on Tuesday night.
Albright (10-7-2) scored both goals off corner chances, now advancing to face top-seeded Messiah on Thursday, November 4. Meanwhile, Stevenson sees its conference tournament run come to an end after getting on the board with just over one minute remaining, falling to 5-9-5.
- Stevenson dribbled into the middle as Kierra McGee lifted a chance high in the ninth minute, responding to a pair of earlier looks for Albright.
- Both sides traded fouls in the midfield area for the next several minutes, unable to string together any viable scoring looks.
- The Mustangs closed off two long runs for Albright as the back line cleared the ball aside.
