Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Senior Will Earhart finished a header opportunity in the 108th minute, handing Stevenson men's soccer a 1-0 double overtime tirumph on Tuesday against Hood at Mustang Stadium.
Stevenson (5-5-2, 1-0-0 MAC Commonwealth) had a wide edge in shots, only registering a few quality looks before closing out the conference win. Dylan Holy and Tiago Silva were credited with the assists on the overtime tally, which handed Stevenson its first win since September 18.
Hood (6-4-1, 0-2-0 MAC Commonwealth) held the Mustangs at bay defensively, blocking a bevy of chances on Tuesday.
- Stevenson held a 10-1 margin in shots during the opening half, only mustering a couple quality looks on goal. Stevenson continued mounting pressure as the half progressed.
- Edson DeMata labeled one toward the left post before Hood keeper Danny Castillo ranged aside to deflect the shot away in the 32nd minute.
