SALISBURY, Md. - 10th-ranked Salisbury scored a combined 10 runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to pull away from Stevenson for an 11-2 non-conference baseball victory at Sea Gull Baseball Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

• Stevenson (7-5) staked itself to a 1-0 lead in the top half.
• Alex Kidwiler tripled to left and scored on a sac fly by Billy McAdam.
• The Sea Gulls (7-3) scored on a balk with one out in the bottom half.

• Stevenson put two runners in scoring position with two outs, but came up empty after a fly out.

• Salisbury got the first two batters of the inning on with a double and a single, with both eventually scoring to make it 3-1.

• The Sea Gulls took advantage of four walks, a hit batter and a hit batter to score five times and take an 8-1 lead.

• Tommy Holcomb led off the inning with Stevenson's first home run of the season to make it 8-2.
• Salisbury crossed the plate three times on three hits, an error and a walk.

• Nate Perkins extended his hit streak to 12 games with a fourth inning single.
• Kidwiler finished 3-4 as the Mustangs were edged 9-8 in the hit column, needing a home run for the cycle.
• Holcomb also had a pair of hits.
• The Mustangs used seven pitchers, with Zach Kaye allowing four hits and three runs (two earned) in five innings to take the loss.  He struck out four.
• The Mustangs scored in the first inning for the ninth time in 12 games this season.

• Stevenson is slated to open MAC Commonwealth play at Arcadia Friday, traveling for a 3:30 pm contest.
• The Mustangs will then host Arcadia for a noon twinbill at Sugar Field.
